How it works

A couple of minutes.
Bragging rights all day.

No luck, no guessing, no sign-up. Just you, the board and the clock.

  1. 1

    Open today's Daily

A new Matrix and a new Roll every day, the same boards for everyone. The timer starts when you tap Start.

  2. 2

    Solve it with logic

Every puzzle has exactly one answer, so you can always reason your way there. Stuck? Practice puzzles have hints.

  3. 3

    Race your friends

Start a free league, drop the invite link in the group chat, and your Daily times become the standings.

The games

Two puzzles. Pick your favorite.

Or play both. Each has its own Daily, its own practice boards and its own leagues.

Matrix

One logo per row, column and color

  • Place one PuzzlBall logo in every row, every column and every color
  • No two logos can touch, not even diagonally
  • Tap for an ✕ to rule a square out; break a rule and it lights up red
Roll

One path through every square

  • Drag one path from 1, up, down, left or right
  • Hit the numbers in order and finish on the last one
  • The path has to fill every square on the board

Easy Monday.
Big Sunday.

The boards grow through the week, so Monday is a warm-up and Sunday is the main event.

  • Same Daily for every player, numbered from launch day
  • The timer pauses when you leave the app
  • Works offline: puzzles are made right on your phone

Leagues

Your group chat
needs a league.

Leagues are free. Each one plays Matrix or Roll, and everyone's Daily time counts. No hints on league days.

  • Weekly Average: lowest average time wins the week
  • Head-to-Head: a new opponent every day, round-robin style
  • Season standings, weekly winners and every day's times
  • Invite with a link or a code; join as many leagues as you like
Puzzl+

Free to play. Plus if you can't stop.

Questions

Good questions.

Is it free?

Yes. Both Daily puzzles and leagues are free for everyone, and there are no ads. Puzzl+ is optional and only adds unlimited practice.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the app and play. You only make an account (just an email and password) when you create or join a league, so your times can show up in the standings.

Is every puzzle solvable without guessing?

Yes. Every Matrix and Roll board has exactly one solution, so you can always get there with logic alone.

How do leagues work?

Each league plays one game, Matrix or Roll. Your Daily time is your league result for that day. Pick Weekly Average (lowest average time wins the week) or Head-to-Head (a new opponent every day). Missed days count against you, and there are no hints on the Daily of a game you have a league in.

How do my friends join?

Create a league, copy the invite link or code, and drop it in the group chat. Friends make an account and land straight in it.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. PuzzlBall is on Google Play and the App Store, and it also runs in any phone or computer browser at puzzl.bettrball.com.

When does the new puzzle come out?

At midnight where you are. Daily #1 was October 23, 2026, and the numbers count up from there.

Today's puzzle is waiting.

Two minutes. One answer. See if you can beat your friends to it.
